Repeated requests have failed to bring payment, according to a lawsuit filed in state Superior Court for Essex County by Speed of Sound, of Irvington. The lawsuit was filed April 11 against GNR, three companies affiliated with the band that handled tour arrangements, and members of the rock group, including singer Axl Rose. Messages left for the band's manager and the companies were not immediately returned. GNR recently scrapped a series of international dates after bassist Tommy Stinson injured his hand. There has also been no information on the group's album, "Chinese Democracy," which was supposed to be released March 6 but then vanished from Interscope's schedule. |
